<p dir="ltr">Here is the latest addition to my Space Wolves kill team. A wolf guard with cyclone missile launcher.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I plan on this unit being a bit of a later addition to the team. Something I can add later when I've got the points. For small games like this when you are facing a lot of power armour a cyclone missile launcher is seriously cool. The heavy 2 shooting of krak missiles combined with the move and fire you get from terminator armour means this guy can law down a withering amount of shots when you add his storm bolter as well. I've added a lightning claw, as long story short I messed up the power weapon in a spraying accident to make him an unappealing opponent to charge.</p>
<p dir="ltr">He looks like fun but with the extra weapons he becomes a bit of a points sink. If he gets killed early on in a game or campaign it's a big hole in your force. </p>
<p dir="ltr">I'm very happy with the paint job I did on him however. I wanted to avoid dip with all these space wolves and they layering method I've used here can be slow but I think you get good results. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Next up, long fangs! </p>

<p dir="ltr">As you know I've resurrected the startings of my small space wolves force. This originally started out as a new 40k army which was going to fight alongside my Raptors until they came of age themselves. </p>
<p dir="ltr">The space wolves were the first army that I ever got into when I started the hobby. Back in the halcyon days of 2nd edition 40k I had something like 3000 points of space wolves. Physically that wasn't actually a huge amount of models and I still have the vast majority of them up in a rag tag collection in the loft. I'm tempted to strip a few of the interesting ones but really that would be like erasing my childhood. I still actually have the first model I painted - a wolf guard terminatorwith assault cannon and chainfist. I also remember buying him as well.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The force is  at a ten man pack of Grey Hunter's and a 5 strong pack of Fenrisian Wolves. I've got another 10 man pack of Grey Hunter's base coated and ready to start painting soon.</p>
<p dir="ltr">They've been featured on the blog some years ago but I was never entirely happy with the way I based them. Originally I did some laser etched flagstone bases complete with fenrisian runes. It's not that I didn't like them, it's just I didn't like the end product. </p>
<p dir="ltr">So I rebated them with the new 32mm bases and a much more traditional sand and snow base. This both ties it in with my Raptors who also have snow bases and also makes them look much better for tabletop gaming - which is of course what this is all about. I also added the chapter symbol onto their shoulder pad. It's Ragnar Blackmain's great company symbol if you want to be technical but the yellow and black wolf's head always looks good.</p>
<p dir="ltr">So far they have had a few outings with the Heralds of Ruin kill team rules and they are heading up to Nottingham in the new year for a small campaign there.</p>
<p dir="ltr">For the wolftime. For Russ.</p>

<p dir="ltr">This is the start of the space marine fleet I'll be using in our upcoming Battlefleet Gothic campaign that me, Rick, Tristan and Ross are about to start.</p>
<p dir="ltr">We are planning on doing a small map based campaign and then seeing on where things take us.</p>
<p dir="ltr">So far I've painted up 8 Hunter class torpedo destroyers and 6 Gladius class frigates. I'm really looking forward to using these as I don't feel I ever really 'got' the space marine fleet. I tried to play them as an imperial fleet, going toe to toe, when I should be playing to their strengths in boarding and hit and run attacks. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Anyway. I'll post up progress as I get more done!</p>

<br />
Hello everyone,<br />
<br />
Since me, Rick, James, Tristan and Ross are about to start our first Star Wars Armada campaign i thought id better post the rules up here.<br />
<br />
They were written with the mind of making massive losses/wins not too hindering/overpowering so they are light on both the negatives and the positives results for ships. Its actually quite hard to get ships fully destroyed until you run out of reserve points and the bonuses aren't too great. Just enough for things to 'matter' a bit more.<br />
<br />
Feel free to comment and point out any glaring loop holes that we missed! Ill post the body of text up here and also a Google Docs link.<br />

<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

This will be the standard one used in your games. This uses the standard list writing rules and all the normal restrictions apply. It will always be available for other players to view online.</span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

This is a way of replenishing ships and squadrons from losses suffered in games. You can add to your list at any time using these reserve points but no more than 300 points of your fleet can be deployed in a game.</span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

Any unspent points in your reserve fleet are noted down. In the “Renown” section of the roster, start with a value of 5. <span style="background-color: transparent; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13.333333333333332px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">only if they survived a game. For instance if a ship or squadron is destroyed and placed into the Salvage pile it cannot be sold for face value after a game and must roll on the Salvage Table to see what negative effects befall it. These reclaimed points are added to the reserve fleet and can then be spent on buying new ships or upgrades.</span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

Although it is possible for ships to be totally destroyed in this campaign system it is designed to be fairly lenient so that one player does not fall behind others. Surviving and destroyed ships roll off on their respective tables to determine their fate and Renown earned by fleet commanders is spent to give themselves advantages in the next fleet engagement. For players to learn what happens to their ships follow the steps below.</span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

Capital ships and squadrons that were destroyed in the battle place in a second group and roll on the Salvage table.</span></div>
<b style="font-weight: normal;"><br /></b>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">

As mentioned above players start the campaign with 5 renown. This cushions the blow of an early heavy loss and enables Admirals to save ships from destruction. Renown is earned from the Engagement Aftermath tables and by winning or losing games.</span></div>

Again!! <div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Well it sure has been awhile since my last post I know but..... I'm back!! Well I've always been here really, I think??? A change of job, getting married etc time has really flown. I will try not to waffle on and will just continue to try and create this post, it's been awhile you know, I said that earlier right? Lolz</span></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Myself and my fellow Paintbrush Hero's have recently been playing some Kings Of War which is in my opinion a much better game than Warhammer Fantasy Battles, Oh wait that doesn't exist anymore.... I am not here to bash Games Workshop but I found the price increases, large numbers of models in units and the rules system plus the fact that they have scrapped the game had basically put me off war gaming.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But this doesn't have to be the end right? With Kings Of War Mantic have created a fun tactical game set in a fantasy universe along with some decent miniatures but you know deep down I actually prefer Games Workshops 'Old World' along with their range of miniatures as I'm sure my fellow Bloggers will agree, it's what we grew up with and love. So why not just use Kings Of War rules and continue to 'live' in the Old World, well that's pretty much what we have decided to do along with using a reduced model count per unit it has made me realise that starting a Games Workshop Fantasy Army need not cost you a Kidney or two!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This made me realise that there was something calling deep within myself (no not my empty stomach!) but a feeling of wanting to try something different, every Games Workshop army I have started has always been 'The Good Guys' Space Marines, Eldar, The Empire, Tomb Kings etc but what about the other side, the dark side, the side that wants to release the evil within!!!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">After some deliberation I have decided to pledge my allegiance to Malekith The Witch King Of Naggaroth!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">By using the reduced model count I found that I don't really need a lot of models to field a balanced army and although war gaming is not cheap it didn't cost me the earth!</span></div>

</ul>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I am not the greatest painter of miniatures but hopefully in my future posts I can share with you my painting journey and how much fun and life there is in the old world, mostly destruction of my fellow Bloggers armies. By using the reduced model count method it is my intention to disobey the Potato Face King and double my unit sizes! (10 Dreadspears can be split into two units, still using the appropriate unit base sizes for Kings Of War) by doing this I can have a balanced army of around 1200pts!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I can feel the excitement and painting bug coming back even as I type this post! I apologise for the waffling but it's good to be back and hobbying with good friends and the Old World.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">
Expect more posts very soon with plenty of pictures 'ooh yeah! ;D ' </span></h2>

<b><br /></b><b>Fantasy Terrain: Stills</b><br />
<b><br /></b>Another item I have been working on for the Mordheim / Fantasy set of terrain that I have been adding to. I am really happy with the bronzed effect on these. I am hoping to use it in our Next Necromunda Campaign as well as as a Dwarven terrain piece in Fantasy or Mordheim.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">I added a little bit of citadel "effects" to the cracks to give the extra green goo pooling and glooping down the outside of the still.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
The Subtle silvering was a build up of a dry brush of GW's latest metallics range, of which I must say i was very impressed with the bronze and copper effect.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Contrast between the shiny copper effect and the matt silver effect is rather satisfying.</td></tr>

<br />
I held off the rust effect on this particular piece, as no dwarf would be seen with rusty stills..<br />
I look forward to using this as some sort of Dwarf objective or objective in our Outlanders Campaign, we could see it get some game time in the other lads Malifaux campaign.<br />

<b>Fantasy Terrain: Walls </b><br />
<b><br /></b>
I always have some little bit of terrain to finish off sitting on the painting table, with these walls I thought id try and get ten ready for some Warhammer Fantasy this summer, they would also be useful for the planned Mordheim Campaign we were hoping to get into in 2016.<br />

<br />
<br />
I first gave everything a coat of black primer (out of a tub as this came with static grass already applied so I couldn't use sprays), then I highlighted and dry brushed up to a light grey. I then used an ink to add a general shade to the wall. I think this gives the stone a subtle variation but allows for quick painting.<br />
<br />

I picked out some of the stonework in subtle shades then gave the whole lot a final highlight of the same light grey.<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Imperial Halberdiers Defend their position</td></tr>

<br />
Finally I applied some clump foliage and spots of different static grass.<br />

<b>Warhammer 40k Promethium Pipes</b><br />
<div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div>
Last year at the Harrow Cricket Club we played our way through my first Necromunda Canpaign. I really enjoyed it, a game I had missed back in its hey day, and with a rumoured forthcoming new edition I think we will be seeing this again down the club. (<a href="https://yaktribe.org/community/threads/cricket-club-nights-campaign.3896/#post-69608" target="_blank">Club Nights Necromunda Underhive Campaign Thread</a> <i>if your interested, there was some great right ups retrieved from the Cawdor ledgers)</i>. Anyway I decided I would take advantage of the glut of 40k terrain I have sitting around and consolidate my options in the grim dark future. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I picked up a pack of the promethium pipes back when they were released a couple of years ago thinking this would be a good start to the City board I've always dreamed of.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<div>
In a small digression: Last summer I was back in the highlands reading through my bros back catalogue of white dwarfs when I noticed this image from an edition back in 2009 for the 3rd edition Space Hulk…<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This could be nothing to do with the promethium pipes, but to my eyes this shows an early mould of the promethium pipes 4 years ago? </div>
<div>
<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway the detail on the pipes are really impressive, perhaps a little gothic for my tastes but that's 40k you know. If this is an example of the terrain GW now manufacture in China then it's maybe not such a bad thing in terms of what technically they can do. I'd prefer it was all still in Nottingham myself but that is business isn't it.</div>
<div>
<br />
<br /></div>

</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So I painted these in a similar way to the barrels I had done a few months back, I sprayed them with the army painter silver spray with a little bit of leadbelcher in places just to change things here and there.</div>

<p dir="ltr">We've been playing a few games of Star Wars Armada down at our gaming club and I thought I would show off the painting I've done for the fighter squadrons that you can get for it. </p>
<p dir="ltr">The X-wings are perhaps the most dissapointing. They have the right shape and proportions but have almost no detail on them compared to the others. Considering they are one of the more iconic ships of the Star Wars universe I'm surprised Fantasy Flight didn't do this better. The TIE fighters look similarly lacking in detail but since I don't have the Imperial Fighter upgrade pack to compare them to ill reserve judgement. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Also featured in this post are the A-wings, B-wings and my favourite ships, the Y-wings. The details are these ships are surprisingly crisp for a model so small and they were great fun to paint. </p>
<p dir="ltr">A bit of inking and drybrush does wonders for them. Perhaps the only difficult things to paint are the B-wings but that's really just because of the angle they are modelled at. Otherwise they are just as good as the others.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I'm going to plan on repainting one each of the CR-90 Blockade Runner and the Nebulon B Frigate that i have in order to distinguish them apart.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Thanks for reading guys!</p>

The game is M.E.R.P. Middle Earth Role Playing, an old but very large and really rather wonderful Role playing game based on the old (pre movie) Lord of the rings / hobbit background. We play this, like all our games with minis, And for this we use the latest Lord of the rings minis. </div>

We have been playing merp for a good fifteen years at sporadic intervals. We've lost characters we have put days of effort into, fought in great battles and interacted with characters from the books and films.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In the latest session we have been playing as a trio, an elf a dwarf and a Dunedain. Here you can see the elf Mage (storm caller) I'm playing. Resplendent in his best dressing gown. In all seriousness</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">I usually play a scout / ranger character and the move to a Mage character was not a smooth one. He has a tendency to rush into hand to hand combat as his spells are frankly rubbish at level 1.</span></div>

<p dir=ltr>Very long time without a post on this blog from me. I've got some necromunda updates for my Goliath gang and a test model for a Scavvy gang that's being started. </p>
<p dir=ltr>The great thing about Necromunda is that the gangers constantly evolve and change so the models end up reflecting what sort of skills they learn and weapons they aquire. </p>
<p dir=ltr>Below is my new Goliath boss who managed to pick up a power fist at a bargain price at the local trading post. </p>
<p dir=ltr>He gets joined by another ganger who has acquired some nasty close combat and strength boosts. I bought him a very fancy club and kitted him out with a new model. </p>
<p dir=ltr>The last guy is a test model for a scavvy gang that I'm starting to put together. I'm actually really happy with the colour scheme that I've used. It came from the old specialist games catalogue and I think it works. </p>
<p dir=ltr>Cheers guys! </p>

<b>Firefly the Board Game</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I turned up on Friday night at a friends in order to catch up with a few old uni mates, only to find that we were going to play a spot of "firefly the board game" from miniatures and terrain manufacturers Gale Force Nine.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUXsMRmK3p0TbeTVIk2Vv-jd_sn4gKK5JlVF3WQGfd7wMeifAfaOwfAMa45NJBgNEOyUcpXn_8-Pt2s4XwHutgSDNyFlKLfQBWRXRmeAXvo2xfvDe4Lao_E2gMMr9MuUzFjvqyxQ_G8Bod/s1600/1263_firefly_board_game.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="308" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUXsMRmK3p0TbeTVIk2Vv-jd_sn4gKK5JlVF3WQGfd7wMeifAfaOwfAMa45NJBgNEOyUcpXn_8-Pt2s4XwHutgSDNyFlKLfQBWRXRmeAXvo2xfvDe4Lao_E2gMMr9MuUzFjvqyxQ_G8Bod/s320/1263_firefly_board_game.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now my friend is not a gamer, as such I was surprised, I am pretty sure he doesn't know I am either... I had known he was into the excellent, and <u>criminally short</u> TV series and apparently his wife had decided to buy him a copy of the board game. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Maybe this shows that these big boy board games are becoming more and more mainstream? </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">But today beardlings I want to share my thoughts on the game, which has received much praise on the Internet and had been on my "toys to buy or trade for list" on my phone for some time!</span><br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So first impressions on the game were that there were a lot of cards and counters. I mean more than a fantasy flight game. There were loads! (this is an image from the website)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpadOAoWRLQ47m7Yuglz2TJxwr5PdmE1yIem9dsyigvl4pysNNjffbHiF9T2r7unqeNvSYRG4O-TqHynQ-OpWHJy7zI2rAvlgMKFZSgmnBGqKNZIqsRx7ya6eywgrdubewMgFgtakco3o2/s1600/maxresdefault.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpadOAoWRLQ47m7Yuglz2TJxwr5PdmE1yIem9dsyigvl4pysNNjffbHiF9T2r7unqeNvSYRG4O-TqHynQ-OpWHJy7zI2rAvlgMKFZSgmnBGqKNZIqsRx7ya6eywgrdubewMgFgtakco3o2/s640/maxresdefault.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">After the group of us got around the set up. The usual roll off ensues and we choose ships, now it starts to get a little odd now, there are 5 ships to select from, but 4 are identical! The other one holds less cargo and can be slightly faster.. But has the same model. Why not make them all different for a tactical edge? </span></div>
<div>
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghW80CaR9Ca1lgu5QiGxj6-P1rQdNnBgLUGG63elEgV6XmuXoW4hlHjATW8ZN8zv47GoAs4NKi7_-OZQaEMWIJHaEDiJcc5zwEHDlf6dboZ00K92JHpF0JqWIOSfm-wkZ3o1R9RpgbYo69/s1600/blogger-image-1260023510.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghW80CaR9Ca1lgu5QiGxj6-P1rQdNnBgLUGG63elEgV6XmuXoW4hlHjATW8ZN8zv47GoAs4NKi7_-OZQaEMWIJHaEDiJcc5zwEHDlf6dboZ00K92JHpF0JqWIOSfm-wkZ3o1R9RpgbYo69/s640/blogger-image-1260023510.jpg" /></a><br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now we have picked our ship sheets we receive our models. Ok so this is a board game, not a miniatures game but these minis aren't great, the fireflies are in five different colours, but the reaver ship looks a bit rubbish and our version of the alliance cruiser was so wobbly it looked a little bit sad, like a slowly deflating bouncy castle, see above.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivsd91JaZC_xhUmkTReg9OkyxxqRsa95Jtj2843bDjJ9fcVyN9rFQ-kVw-233VfVguIQ79FoHX75yR6gIu1njmvLmS2nvA9CvS1SPYnq98KEiWEOX8y1cooQS3jYBc0xWtdYi7V2IgXu8A/s640/blogger-image--843071174.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivsd91JaZC_xhUmkTReg9OkyxxqRsa95Jtj2843bDjJ9fcVyN9rFQ-kVw-233VfVguIQ79FoHX75yR6gIu1njmvLmS2nvA9CvS1SPYnq98KEiWEOX8y1cooQS3jYBc0xWtdYi7V2IgXu8A/s400/blogger-image--843071174.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Then we pick our captains. The man Malcolm himself is there, and all the other characters from the story, each give you a set of traits. Some key requirements in terms of skills as your crew do later. </span></div>
<div>
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivsd91JaZC_xhUmkTReg9OkyxxqRsa95Jtj2843bDjJ9fcVyN9rFQ-kVw-233VfVguIQ79FoHX75yR6gIu1njmvLmS2nvA9CvS1SPYnq98KEiWEOX8y1cooQS3jYBc0xWtdYi7V2IgXu8A/s640/blogger-image--843071174.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Starting the game seemed to take a good while, we had to pick a set of mission cards and sift through the mountain of tokens before we set off.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Each of your missions is a "job" that will hopefully earn you money. In order to complete jobs you gather a crew and move cargo from place to place on a star map, all the while avoiding the Alliance Cruiser and the Reaver Cutter. However this began to be a little tedious if I'm honest. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I felt like I was playing a mail man simulation, with the reaver cutter as a ravenous Terrier and the Alliance Cruiser my overbearing boss. There just wasn't enough direct interference from other players for my liking, the game seemed to swing on the getting of overly powered cards, which you draw as you move through space. In one turn three of us had our cargo seized, and entire crew slaughtered… IN ONE SINGLE TURN! If I hadn't had to get a tube, we may still be there re-crewing and delivering parcels. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlpXyXs5aksGU9CBs0I9md5ZtJx6VixJFmioouJV_wTQDteBPwlvwOnjV6STgXt0Wf2yYZrrxDZVw7TBw7VvV49R_9UZ3GRjskYsQ8KAoiIkfadOk9BuRYL0jTNW8d0YuEGWyuniCXsnLj/s640/blogger-image--214996272.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlpXyXs5aksGU9CBs0I9md5ZtJx6VixJFmioouJV_wTQDteBPwlvwOnjV6STgXt0Wf2yYZrrxDZVw7TBw7VvV49R_9UZ3GRjskYsQ8KAoiIkfadOk9BuRYL0jTNW8d0YuEGWyuniCXsnLj/s640/blogger-image--214996272.jpg" /></span></a></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">All in all it was great to remember how brilliant the series was, and the little items and characters do that!, including things like Jane's Hat of fearlessness, the swearing in chinese etc was all great, the game had been researched zoo well, but the mechanics were a bit off and I will be removing this game from my list. But it is very well made, chock full of bits and will no doubt engage a lot of people, especially those who loved the series.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">'ll just be spending my money somewhere else.</span></div>

Then I sprayed the thing in Rhinox hide, layered up my drybrush of Steel Legion Drab and Karak stone and picked out a few concrete and stone parts. I finished off with some attempts at scorching and soot marking from my forgeworld weathering powders. I then used Blood For the Bloodgod to suggest a recent occupant had vacated his foxhole on the large one and on the other attempted to suggest water ingress with the citadel water effect. Overall I'm not that impressed, but they are done and now in the box. <b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Star Trek Attack Wing: Repaints</span></b><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b><br /></b>
I was a relatively recent convert to the Star Wars Xwing/Star Trek Attack Wing system. I will delve into Xwing in another post at a later date, but here I want to talk "Attack Wing".</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I picked up a job lot of ship sets from a Facebook "Trader" page to compliment the starter set that was part of my booty from Salute 2014. To be honest I don't think I really needed another game that is so similar to Xwing, but I just couldn't help myself…</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I enjoy the hopeful nature of this fictional universe, but most of all I loved the grittier Deep Space Nine, the Voyager Series, and the First Contact Films. I am a bit of a Utopian at heart but I'll burn all my principles for the love of the star ship combat. I will still rewatch the episodes from DS9 especially the Dominion War towards the end. That was some of the best telly I'd seen in my teens.</span><br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So to first impressions- I'll be honest, I was a little dissapointed. <span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ships and tokens are of lesser quality than the Xwing versions. But this has been well documented online. I want to talk about scaling. The attack wing ships (certainly the initial ships) are inherited from the heroclix game by wizzkids, they for the most part lack any scale relevant to each other, now why is this an issue? Ofcourse it doesn't need to be, but as a narrative led gamer I want to see my Romulan Warbird two to three times the size of the Enterprise D. This is achieved, and indeed is fundamental to the related </span><span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Xwing game. The prepainting quality is also lesser than the Xwing game, I'm very sure that some of the minis just came with a poorly applied basecoat, this was unacceptable to me, so I decided on a reprinting strategy</span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So to the minis..</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Federation</span></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Chances are if your reading this you know the first few factions so il just describe the fleet. Two galaxy class starships, USS Enterprise D and USS Odyssey, a Reliant class and a Nova class, the USS Reliant and the USS Equinox.</span></div>

<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">These are the first models I've painted from a white undercoat since the mid ninetys. Not convinced by them if I am honest, I still think they should be darker. but they are better then they came.</span></div>

<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Romulan</span></b></div>

<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Romulan Warbird features in each of the 3 'next gen' series and was one of my favourite ships, here supported by a small scout vessel</span><br />

<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Klingon</span></b></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Probably the most iconic of the star trek races. Here we have a bird of prey and a vor'cha class attack cruiser, again both feature heavily in the next gen universe, and here are supported by a couple of old D7 cruisers.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikIaYO5AQIvAdr4BaOm9xkmPXJ4IKUMdKHIUYTZex_XH92ceQl1VpWd9sNyb-FGvilz3Oqm7AT0OB9AN3CkCVjhwrsXWdeVqWdeW31Bhkcd3y5nScJghEz8sqVgqY0laEWocWwaf9041hm/s1600/DSC_0002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikIaYO5AQIvAdr4BaOm9xkmPXJ4IKUMdKHIUYTZex_XH92ceQl1VpWd9sNyb-FGvilz3Oqm7AT0OB9AN3CkCVjhwrsXWdeVqWdeW31Bhkcd3y5nScJghEz8sqVgqY0laEWocWwaf9041hm/s640/DSC_0002.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Painting Klingons is a bit of a change, rather than a cohesive painting strategy the ships are all very different, from grey brown to dark green so I tried to unify the fleet as best as I could with the propulsion and some heavy weathering.</span></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Borg</span></b></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My fleet consists of two spheres and a tactical cube, The impact of the Borg on the Next Gen universe was radical, visual effects at the time perhaps over shadowed the raw element of their threat- the removal of your individuality.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSaUhV1R_WpCfgAcTEwaAcmtai5QOD48C3RTS9qZvyVIJYSVe4Ldqv-7bQ4Du2pHC3pjue1I7-VIR4nRxa8LWmR0EN0cStdTFOsh_6KYPyuPcuLQn446cgs_U6fSAdnDtjT4zTCt2CEM9u/s1600/DSC_0003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSaUhV1R_WpCfgAcTEwaAcmtai5QOD48C3RTS9qZvyVIJYSVe4Ldqv-7bQ4Du2pHC3pjue1I7-VIR4nRxa8LWmR0EN0cStdTFOsh_6KYPyuPcuLQn446cgs_U6fSAdnDtjT4zTCt2CEM9u/s640/DSC_0003.JPG" width="640" /></a> </div>
</div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Just given a black basecoat and dry brushed up a few greys these came out very well. The addition of a couple of Borg-green spots of colour help the minis to pop in the tabletop.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Cardassians</span></b></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></b></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The cardys fall under the dominion banner in this game, which is a bit of a shame and relegates them to a bit part empire, which they certainly are not in the narrative. </span><br />

<span style="color: #141823; font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19.3199996948242px;">Further adventures in retasking miniatures purely for KOW. I had this spare dwarf after assembling a unit and wondering what to do with him it struck me I could give him the slightly odd 'flame-thrower' type weapon option and retask him as a Flame Belcher. So on to a 50mm square base he went and I'm quite happy with the result. My reasoning for a man packed flame unit is thus - Flame Belchers don't have reload and have the same speed as other dwarf units and the lack of individual reflects that massive helmet somewhat restricting his maneuverability and field of view</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">In an effort to break away from my ongoing issues with never finishing any blooming projects I thought I would have a go at a bit of speed painting this week.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">A decade or so ago my painting style was radically different to what it is now and I used to get lots of stuff finished quickly. Of course at that time I was a student, unmarried and without 2 children under 5 years old! Still no excuses.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">I used to do a lot via ink washes or the dip method whereas in recent years I have tended towards a slow but very visually appealing Kevin Dallimore style 3 colour method.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">Anyhow having a fair number of old Battle for Skull Pass goblins garrisoning the garage and with a desire to produce a new army for Kings of War I embarked last night on a little experiment. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">I painted this chap mainly using Army Painter quickshade inks, which are truly excellent in every way. In fact his clothing is entirely painted in this fashion, simply army painter dark tone over a grey primer.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">I find the result extremely pleasing and he was shockingly quick to do compared to my normal methods. Next step and challenge for me is to knock out a regiment of these on a scenic base over the next few days. If the unit comes out well then I know what army I am prepping for my new Kings of War force! </span></div>

<br></div>
I have always liked the grittier side of modelling and painting, a career as an architect has told me when I need to articulate something as an abstract or as a realistic interpretation of texture to make it believable. I delved a little into this with my Lizardman pool earlier, with the interest in the possibilities of "water effects" really the driver for that project. Likewise I bought a set of pre painted Pegasus hobbies barrels to repain for use in necromunda. These are really a test of the rust effect products I have lying around.<br>
<div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
<b>Modelmates</b></div>
<div>
<b><br></b></div>
<div>
I've had a set of modelmates rust effect on my desk since salute and having heard a great deal about this product, have been looking for an opportunity to give it a whirl. The prepping of the barrels effectively meant I painted them up to the silver highlight stage, these have been weathered with citadel and army painter washes (left hand set) but then to test what u can do with modelmates I went all out at another set of barrels with my new effects (right of image).<br>
<br></div>
<div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGi3UhcfvOl8OqOCztpuVYfyHg-l8_X0EzzznIN5ZSNwn2l35HU4S59q_jHEu3JyzM5xJEdUrLaQTnbqgph1QEvZRXtp11YCcRFbEm47VlIiJe_-GsgbHSxwAFhyXXSmtw8sUekjWr3IWR/s640/blogger-image--218156802.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGi3UhcfvOl8OqOCztpuVYfyHg-l8_X0EzzznIN5ZSNwn2l35HU4S59q_jHEu3JyzM5xJEdUrLaQTnbqgph1QEvZRXtp11YCcRFbEm47VlIiJe_-GsgbHSxwAFhyXXSmtw8sUekjWr3IWR/s640/blogger-image--218156802.jpg"></a>The rust effect here is added in three layers of progressively lighter modelmates, this is probably what caused the over-effect I ended up with. It goes on translucent and quickly turns rusty.. I was impressed. To add to this I used the forgeworld rust weathering powder to give the dry final texture over the top of the modelmates. This was then give a speckling of the Ryza Rust effect paint to give it a little depth, and the edges were again picked up in a dry silver paint from citadel.</div>
<div>
<br></div>
<div>
Just a quick one but the difference from a couple of minutes work is staggering and I'll be using this on all my necromunda bulkheads and bases from now on. A small amount of ooze was used to juxtapose the texture on the barrel surface with something shiny and gooey.</div><div><br></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsgWpSlfx2rBscfaYHARQ8uX5E387WaE9nyw1LcRMaeUhkrNMaQo0KHXZLfkwo-FmfEz4nM4QPNjmtdu4eaBG05xvP6oJcJ-xEaWedwNhbJokemTpr2dxG80QHzjf6jfkbNMs8WlFAGK3n/s640/blogger-image-1158795614.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsgWpSlfx2rBscfaYHARQ8uX5E387WaE9nyw1LcRMaeUhkrNMaQo0KHXZLfkwo-FmfEz4nM4QPNjmtdu4eaBG05xvP6oJcJ-xEaWedwNhbJokemTpr2dxG80QHzjf6jfkbNMs8WlFAGK3n/s640/blogger-image-1158795614.jpg"></a></div><br></div>

<b><br /></b>
<b>Fantasy Terrain: Khorne Temple</b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
You may have already read our post on the Lizardman spawning pool. I thought I should elaborate on the other temple made from the two citadel modular temple sets.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMYtWkpTu11d3BGN4NGkcywdwFx8m5DKxSaP5G6Xi9Rb4fN3nbLBpuzws_s4HOQ4kL_UfhNOvyLErv_TLhfyURIYWFsAqmoeUPfIXN868aKCNClZijV7lMRJzBTPj32u1buojlxRx2gLQz/s1600/IMG_1063_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMYtWkpTu11d3BGN4NGkcywdwFx8m5DKxSaP5G6Xi9Rb4fN3nbLBpuzws_s4HOQ4kL_UfhNOvyLErv_TLhfyURIYWFsAqmoeUPfIXN868aKCNClZijV7lMRJzBTPj32u1buojlxRx2gLQz/s640/IMG_1063_2.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So I began/inherited a fantasy deamon army from my good mate Gav. Now Gav suffers from a major case of "shiny syndrome" probably the worst case I've ever heard of, and over the years I have purchased a few of his cast off armies. I honestly never really fancied a demon army but felt someone should take on the role of ultimate evil within my gaming group. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In order to support the demon army on The tabletop I set out to produce a temple to each of the 4 chaos gods, more on the other 3 later. Today I'm showing off the Khorne temple.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7JSxUilyZfT0wyssOSQsSqdwuphMbqrMmsoOqO4s1DNSAwvweJqQpKu1AU7jbxhwbj0g009QuLzafaSdhyphenhyphenCxrRgytvSmwNzuydilQgsn1Ws8XRjyeeTvtHhFj7ZnMDJlA1nYeoG7OpK-E/s1600/IMG_1066_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7JSxUilyZfT0wyssOSQsSqdwuphMbqrMmsoOqO4s1DNSAwvweJqQpKu1AU7jbxhwbj0g009QuLzafaSdhyphenhyphenCxrRgytvSmwNzuydilQgsn1Ws8XRjyeeTvtHhFj7ZnMDJlA1nYeoG7OpK-E/s400/IMG_1066_2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
First up lets talk about what I was after. I always try to add a level of modularity and bespoke elements to my terrain, this modular temple kit (the arches are not glued) allowed for flexibility and so how would I add my own touch? A twist of fate meant somehow when moving house, I lost the top of the obelisk and so I found myself attempting a burning caldron of Khorne Fire. This has been effectionately christened the "bowl of NikNaks" by my brother and regular opponent Rob. That will make sense if your from the UK no doubt… These were all made from green stuff and a few bits of odd skeleton from my bits box for the sacrifice.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXmOUgWh5_JolumUlJaYnJLcriUs9n-5IiCqcAHGYjqe0C0pf6N5AF3QtLkrbMTC7ckfuZJB04ILRA1sFeyvZmHXzls6p6P3Eu7CQa5pgnV3o8FaLoagKxCjy0tau6DK-tsknP5slJ4U1U/s1600/IMG_1057_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXmOUgWh5_JolumUlJaYnJLcriUs9n-5IiCqcAHGYjqe0C0pf6N5AF3QtLkrbMTC7ckfuZJB04ILRA1sFeyvZmHXzls6p6P3Eu7CQa5pgnV3o8FaLoagKxCjy0tau6DK-tsknP5slJ4U1U/s400/IMG_1057_2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Secondly I wanted to have modular motifs for all my terrain that would allow different factions to take ownership of these pieces on the table. This piece would be equally appropriate for slannesh, dark elves or vampire counts for instance. Ill make a note about these later, they plug into many pieces of my terrain.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Thought I'd try out the "Blood for the Blood God" paint as this seemed highly appropriate too. You can see this eeking out from within the rock face. I also tried my hand at object source lighting (OSL) for the first time. I gave the copper verdigris from again from the new Citadel range, but to be honest I tried to wipe much of this off, I think its either not really suitable for this or I just don't like it, I'm not sure yet.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmMajzo21EFs47AbjqRNLrjg7f4qreaBf5al0_N2iL88Gsk94GRL_v4c779NtWRsZoh-76jGCOtr985A_Wd-uJFb-2_vC8CkGH1GDXlTb8Be52GWThhcZiaCZ4YuEQAxfOEAzZTcIByNI-/s1600/IMG_1071_2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmMajzo21EFs47AbjqRNLrjg7f4qreaBf5al0_N2iL88Gsk94GRL_v4c779NtWRsZoh-76jGCOtr985A_Wd-uJFb-2_vC8CkGH1GDXlTb8Be52GWThhcZiaCZ4YuEQAxfOEAzZTcIByNI-/s400/IMG_1071_2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
End results are pretty good in my opinion, an old, if often ignored terrain piece now complete for the tabletop. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
